We’re the jalada GmbH, a professional team of software experts who develop innovative applications especially for your Mac OS X. jalada is the creator of Language Alchemist an universal language dictionary offering far more than standard dictionaries. With its revolutionary technical approach it allows to translate nearly any foreign language texts in any target language.

In the early nineties, the founders of jalada starts working with some of the technologies that form the basis of Mac OS X. There early developing projects included creating custom applications for the Deutsche Telekom, designing GUI- components for Sun Microsystems Star Office and developing Call Center Solutions for Affinion International. Founded as a consulting and eBusiness company jalada metamorphose to the software company – we are today.

Our Philosophy

We at jalada strongly believe that software should be very simple to learn, pleasant to use, do what it says elegantly and, last but not least, beautiful to the eyes. Technology is great but Simplicity is the key. Without simplicity, technology will not reach its full potential. Software design is an art.
